After a string of five wins, Tuscola's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Pisgah Bears and fell 66-16. The matchup marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Abbey Earwood was Tuscola's leading scorer, having posted six points. Nora Jenkins took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Jade Cody went supernova for Pisgah, going 7 of 13 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. Those 15 points gave Cody a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Campbell, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 11 points and three steals.

Tuscola's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pisgah, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Tuscola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-55 win against Smoky Mountain on the 14th. Pisgah has also already played their next matchup, a 62-34 victory against East Henderson on the 14th.
