Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran and Central Wisconsin Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2. The Blazers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kiley Dhein paced Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dhein got some help from Olivia Kirchner and her 32 assists. Dhein was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 25-20. As for Central Wisconsin Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.
