Volleyball Recap: Oneida Nation Falls to Niagara in First Game of Season

Oneida Nation unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Niagara Badgers on Thursday. If the Thunderhawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Badgers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-6.

Niagara now has a winning record of 3-2.

Oneida Nation will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Niagara, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lena on the 28th.
