Basketball Game Preview: North Linn Lynx vs. Maquoketa Valley Wildcats

North Linn has gone 10-0 against Maquoketa Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The North Linn Lynx will be home for the holidays to greet the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. North Linn will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for North Linn against East Buchanan as the team secured a 77-45 win. Fans of the Lynx have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Maquoketa Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Edgewood-Colesburg by a score of 57-50 on Tuesday.

Maquoketa Valley pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for North Linn, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

North Linn was able to grind out a solid victory over Maquoketa Valley in their previous matchup back in January, winning 57-44. Will North Linn repeat their success, or does Maquoketa Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
