Basketball Game Preview: Watersprings Warriors vs. Challis Vikings + How To Watch

Watersprings hasn't had much luck against Challis recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Vikings at 2:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Watersprings made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Salmon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Savages by a score of 26-23 last Thursday.

Despite the defeat, Watersprings saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anna Cochran posted four points along with six boards and six steals. Cochran is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Challis played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 48-15 loss at the hands of Rockland. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Watersprings' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Challis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Watersprings was taken down by Challis 42-8 in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
