Camp Verde never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Fountain Hills Falcons, posting a 42-0 victory. The Cowboys have beaten the Falcons the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Falcons has come to flipping the script.

It was another big night for Justin Smith, who rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 145 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Brayden Walsworth was another key player, throwing for 230 yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Camp Verde was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Camp Verde didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jase Seekins and Walsworth. Walsworth has been hot recently, having also posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Jamin Roderick was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Camp Verde's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fountain Hills, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
