Challis barely beat Glenns Ferry the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Pilots 14-8 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Jayden Shepard, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Roy Jones, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Challis' victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Glenns Ferry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Challis will host West Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenns Ferry, they have already played their next game, a 14-4 defeat against Soda Springs on the 12th.
