Softball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Pleasant Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Ringgold's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. Mt. Pleasant has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Ringgold will venture away from home to face off against Albert Gallatin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will welcome Greensburg Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
