Basketball Recap: Tenoroc Gets the Win

Tenoroc lost to Fort Meade back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Tenoroc Titans had just enough and edged the Fort Meade Miners out 51-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Fort Meade's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mekhi Berrien, who posted 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasier Berrien, who had 13 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Tenoroc's victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenoroc will welcome Lake Region at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tenoroc is facing Lake Region at the right time seeing as Lake Region is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Meade, they will host Mulberry at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
