After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Spirit, Atlantic City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Pleasantville Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Nelly Sosa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Mia Marota was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last nine contests. Another player making a difference was Alaina Moore, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Atlantic City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .862. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Atlantic City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Pleasantville, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
