Recap: Wellington-Napoleon Tigers vs. Odessa Bulldogs
The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers were the 42-38 winner over the Odessa Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Wellington-Napoleon took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Odessa. Wellington-Napoleon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isabelle Miller, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Ellensohn, who scored 9 points.
Wellington-Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Odessa, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Wellington-Napoleon will square off against St. Paul Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Odessa, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Richmond.
