Basketball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 67-17 defeat at the hands of the Madison Blue Streaks. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Madison, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Lakeside will face off against Kirtland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
