Basketball Recap: Black River Comes Up Short

Black River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 47-34 to the Martin Clippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-22 back in January.

Black River's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Martin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Black River will be playing at home against Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martin, they will challenge Potter's House Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
