Basketball Recap: Firestone Takes a Loss

Firestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 60-32 defeat at the hands of the Ellet Orangemen. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Orangemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Firestone's record is now 0-4. As for Ellet, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firestone will welcome South at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Firestone is facing South at the right time seeing as South is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ellet, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Buchtel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buchtel has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 244 points over their last three contests.
