Basketball Recap: Broadmoor Comes Up Short

Broadmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 49-9 loss at the hands of the West Feliciana Saints. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Saints are ranked 103rd).

West Feliciana got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samaria Berry out in front who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sa'Lacia Berry, who had 11 points.

Broadmoor's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for West Feliciana, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Broadmoor has already played their next game (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Feliciana has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Belaire.
