After a string of four wins, Animo De La Hoya's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 60-42 to the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Boxers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-34 back in December of 2024.

Leading Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus to victory were Mateo A and Anthony M. A posted 15 points and eight steals, while M earned 17 points and three steals. M continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Joshua G was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Animo De La Hoya's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, their record now sits at 7-3.
