Basketball Recap: North Tampa Christian Academy's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Tampa Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Toni Bryant. The North Tampa Christian Academy Titans snuck past the Central Cobras with a 64-60 victory on Friday thanks in part to Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. His afternoon made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Central lost, don't look at Christian Maxon. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 14 on his way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Gayle, who went 7 for 15 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

North Tampa Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

North Tampa Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-45 loss against Edgewater on the 18th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-56 win against Lehigh on the 18th.
