Keystone Heights had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Middleburg Broncos out 2-1. The Indians' winning goal came courtesy of Anthony Brunt.

Keystone Heights' win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Middleburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Keystone Heights and Newberry will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Keystone Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Middleburg, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ridgeview at 7:20 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
