Baseball Game Preview: Tylertown Chiefs vs. West Marion Trojans

Tylertown hasn't had much luck against West Marion recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tylertown Chiefs will be playing at home against the West Marion Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

Tylertown is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to West Marion.

For West Marion's part, Taylor Stringer was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Stringer a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Turnage, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

West Marion hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive contests.

West Marion's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Tylertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
