Basketball Recap: Mid-Michigan Homeschoolers Falls Despite Big Games from Joseph Owen and Brendan Redmond

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers was the 53-47 winner over FAITH HomeSchool when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers Mustangs took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the FAITH HomeSchool Falcons.

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers' loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Brendan Redmond and Joseph Owen. Redmond went 5 for 7 en route to 17 points, while Owen went 5 of 9 to rack up 12 points. Redmond's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Aidan Porter was another key player, putting up seven points.

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers' loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for FAITH HomeSchool, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers has already played their next game, a 65-51 defeat against Washtenaw Christian Academy on the 10th. As for FAITH HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-27 loss against Faith Baptist on the 10th.
