Volleyball Game Preview: Wheaton North Falcons vs. Glenbard West Hilltoppers

Wheaton North is 2-8 against Glenbard West since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Falcons will take on the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Wheaton North sitting on six straight victories and Glenbard West on four.

Wheaton North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Glenbard North.

Meanwhile, Glenbard West was able to grind out a solid victory over Addison Trail on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Glenbard West took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Wheaton North, their victory bumped their record up to 22-14.

Wheaton North came up short against Glenbard West when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
