Softball Preview: Spalding Jaguars vs. Fayette County Tigers        
        
		
             Spalding is 4-0 against Fayette County since August of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Spalding Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fayette County Tigers  at 5:30  p.m. Spalding is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season.
 Spalding took a loss when they played away from home  on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. Everything went their way against Crawford County as Spalding made off with  an  11-3 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven  runs or more this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Macie Robertson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most  hits  she has posted since  back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordin Ford, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Fayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  16-4 to LaGrange.
 The  victory snapped Spalding's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 13-8 record. As for Fayette County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
 Everything went Spalding's way against Fayette County in their previous matchup  back in August as Spalding made off with  an  18-2 win. Does  Spalding have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fayette County turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
