Basketball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic was the 55-44 winner over Clarinda when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Atlantic Trojans received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 50-33 to the Clarinda Cardinals. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Clarinda, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic will challenge Harlan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic is facing Harlan at the right time seeing as Harlan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Clarinda has already played their next contest (against Shenandoah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
