Softball Recap: Borger Comes Up Short

Borger lost against Canyon back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Borger saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cylin Saxon, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Borger's record is now 6-27. As for Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Borger is set to challenge their familiar foe Perryton at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Canyon will face off against rival West Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
