Volleyball Recap: Marquand-Zion Comes Up Short

Marquand-Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Marquand-Zion's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Marquand-Zion nor Westwood Baptist Academy have any future games scheduled.
