Pebble Hills is 8-2 against Eastwood since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pebble Hills Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Eastwood Troopers at 7:30 p.m. Pebble Hills will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Pebble Hills proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Montwood 1-0. The Spartans' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Meanwhile, Eastwood didn't have quite enough to beat Franklin on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Eastwood's goal came courtesy of Diego Marquez, who's now up to five this season.

Pebble Hills pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six matchups. As for Eastwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Pebble Hills took their victory against Eastwood when the teams last played on February 4th by a conclusive 9-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pebble Hills since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
