While Rocky Bayou Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. McCune is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Harrison Sanders was another key player, putting up 15 points and seven rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Land O' Lakes lost, don't look at Jacoby Davis. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-16 on his way to 21 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Daley, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Rocky Bayou Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Land O' Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Rocky Bayou Christian has already played their next matchup, a 50-46 win against Pensacola Catholic on the 2nd. As for Land O' Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-56 defeat against Wiregrass Ranch on the 3rd.
