Baseball Recap: Muskogee Roughers vs. Fort Gibson Tigers

Muskogee gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fort Gibson Tigers with a sharp 10-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Roughers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Avery Browning made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
