Soccer Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Bentonville

Fayetteville faced Bentonville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Bentonville this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss two weeks ago.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 14-3-2. As for Bentonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Fayetteville nor Bentonville have any future games scheduled.
