Recap: Bishop Manogue Miners vs. Bishop Gorman Gaels
The Bishop Manogue Miners lost against the Bishop Gorman Gaels back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bishop Manogue had to suffer through a rough 74-32 loss at the hands of Bishop Gorman. Bishop Manogue has struggled against Bishop Gorman recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Bishop Manogue's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Rowe, who scored 11 points. Rowe scored a full 34.4% of Bishop Manogue's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Carter Eck was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Bishop Manogue now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bishop Gorman, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Bishop Manogue will play host again and welcome Vacaville, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Gorman, they will square off against Jesuit at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
