Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Timber Creek walked away with it. Everything went their way against the University Cougars on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Timber Creek took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-10.

Despite the loss, University saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mia Ho-Rivas had four digs and four aces.

Timber Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Timber Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Winter Park on the 15th. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
