North scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 58-38 to the Goddard Lions. The defeat leaves the RedHawks without a win on the season.

Goddard found their leader in sophomore Presley Schmidt, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for Schmidt. Another player making a difference was Audie Phillips, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 13 points.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Goddard, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North will venture away from home to challenge West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goddard, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Goddard is facing Eisenhower at the right time seeing as Eisenhower is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
