Baseball Recap: Lewisburg Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lewisburg had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Center Hill Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Carson Sharp looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colson Alexander, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Grant Walendzik was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Lewisburg's record now sits at 20-6. As for Center Hill, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Lewisburg nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
