Baseball Recap: Buffalo Island Central Comes Up Short

Buffalo Island Central was the 2-0 winner over East Poinsett County when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 7-4 to the Warriors on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buffalo Island Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for East Poinsett County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.

Coming up, Buffalo Island Central will be playing at home against Crowley's Ridge Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Poinsett County, they will head out to face off against Augusta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
