Basketball Recap: Madera South Comes Up Short

Madera South and Strathmore squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Madera South had to settle for second. They took a 63-46 bruising from the Strathmore Spartans.

Madera South has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season. As for Strathmore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-11.

Madera South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strathmore, they will venture away from home to square off against Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Santa Maria's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
