Fairland picks up 15th straight win at home

In what's become a running theme this season, the Fairland Dragons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 72-29 victory over Rock Hill at home. Winning may never get old, but Fairland sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Fairland was led to victory by Kamryn Barnitz and Bree Allen. Barnitz scored 16 points along with four steals, while Allen scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnitz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bailey Russell, who scored 15 points.

Fairland's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.2 points. As for Rock Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Fairland will square off against Goshen at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Goshen's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Rock Hill, they will head out on the road to take on Eastern at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Eastern is ranked 450th, while Rock Hill is ranked 471st).
