Softball Game Preview: Bethel Bison vs. Eatonville Cruisers

The Bethel Bison will head out on the road to square off against the Eatonville Cruisers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethel will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Bethel is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over Mercer Island on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Eatonville took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over Tenino. The win continues a trend for the Cruisers in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Lila Downey, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amy Tozier, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Bethel's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Eatonville, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
