Softball Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs lost against Apple Valley on April 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burros lost 16-6 to the Sun Devils. The Burros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Hibbs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lorrain Gamble, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Apple Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7-1.

Burroughs has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Serrano on the 1st. As for Apple Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Sultana on the 1st.
