The South Central Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Christian Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

South Central got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. They never let Crothersville get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Gracie Haag and Addison Stepro were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Haag tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Carly Stevens spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Natalie McKain, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Leah Stevens, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI.

South Central picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-8. As for Christian Academy, their record now sits at 3-4.
