Football Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Fairview's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairview can now relate to. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paulding Panthers on Friday. The Apaches were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the 11 games prior), but the Panthers' defense proved too tough.

Fairview moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Paulding, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Fairview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paulding, they will challenge Carey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
