Football Game Recap: Lewiston vs. Oxford Hills/Buckfield

Lewiston couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-34 punch to the gut against Oxford Hills/Buckfield on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Lewiston a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.

Lewiston are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Thornton Academy next week at 7:00 PM. Oxford Hills/Buckfield will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Edward Little at 7:00 PM.
