Softball Recap: Carrizo Springs Comes Up Short

Carrizo Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 15-8 to the Pleasanton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 back in March.

Carrizo Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Pleasanton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-11-1.

Coincidentally, Carrizo Springs and Pleasanton will both be playing Devine the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Warhorses at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
