Softball Recap: Sylacauga Comes Up Short

Sylacauga lost against Fayetteville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aggies fell 5-2 to the Wolves. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sylacauga saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Sylacauga's record now sits at 11-17. As for Fayetteville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Sylacauga and Fayetteville are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Aggies will challenge Briarwood Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville, they will square off against Wadley at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
