Volleyball Recap: Lanesboro Find Success + How To Watch

Lanesboro proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics 3-2. The Burros haven't had any issues with the Athletics recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lanesboro had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 11-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-13.

Despite the defeat, Lyle/Pacelli saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Autumn Drennan had 40 assists and five digs. Those 40 assists set a new season-high mark for Drennan.

Lanesboro's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Lyle/Pacelli, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9.

Lanesboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Alden-Conger on the 4th. As for Lyle/Pacelli, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Southland on the 7th.
