After losing to Lexington the last time they met, Little River Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Little River Academy Bumblebees came out on top against the Lexington Eagles by a score of 53-46 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bumblebees.

Little River Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Lexington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Little River Academy has already played their next matchup (against Rockdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lexington is taking a road trip to take on Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Lexington likes a good challenge.
