Softball Preview: Southern Alamance Patriots vs. Western Alamance Warriors
The Southern Alamance Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Western Alamance Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Southern Alamance is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Eastern Alamance on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the Eagles. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Western Alamance, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Person on Friday as Western Alamance made off with a 7-0 victory. The result came thanks to Addison Beal's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
