Quintavius “Q” Burdette had become an agent of chaos on the long-running reality show.
Quintavius "Q" Burdette, the two-sport athlete at
Senatobia (Miss.) who became a polarizing figure on the CBS reality show "Survivor", was blindsided this week and voted off one episode before the season finale.
The 29-year-old real estate agent, who participated in football and basketball in high school before playing collegiately for Ole Miss, was an agent of chaos for the last several weeks of the show.
Making for great television, Burdette nearly quit at a tribal council a month ago and ostracized himself from many of his closest allies.
But he survived several more tribal councils before being blindsided Wednesday with an immunity idol in his pocket. He was the fifth straight contestant to be sent home with the idol in his pocket.
He will appear as a jury member for the season finale, which airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday on CBS.
Burdette, one of 17 children, graduated in 2012 from Senatobia, where he ran for 1,235 yards with 16 touchdowns as a junior.
