Volleyball Recap: Seymour Tigers vs. Gainesville Bulldogs

After flying high against Mansfield on Monday, Seymour came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Gainesville Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Seymour was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Gainesville's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Paisha Sturdefant paced Seymour's offense, picking up three kills. Sturdefant really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
