Baseball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals vs. Merrill Vandals
Michigan Lutheran Seminary lost to Merrill back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cardinals walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Vandals.
Simeon Kober and Eli Lewis made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Kober pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Lewis struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. At the plate, Kober scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Lewis scored a run while going 3-for-3.
