 Sadly, Curie is still looking for their first win of the season after six  matches. They fell just short of the Hubbard Greyhounds by a score of  4-3 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Curie has lost by  just one  run.
 For Hubbard's part,  Serafin Millan was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ricky Romo, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Curie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hubbard, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
 Curie will head out on the road to  challenge  Holy Trinity at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Holy Trinity is coming into the  game with four straight  victories at home,  so Curie will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. Hubbard will take on Hancock at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Hubbard is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.1  runs per game  this season.
